This Podcast was started from the insistence of the Holy Spirit. The mission of this Podcast is to share the Gospel and Make Disciples. Some of the early episodes dealt with my personal supernatural encounters. Moving forward, the Holy Spirit wants me to waste no more time entertaining people's curiosity of the supernatural. Just as it says in Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. I hope, and I pray that these podcast sermons, regardless of their length, persuade you to hear and accept the Gospel. I make You Tube videos to educate people, you know.
How to…videos…not Podcasts!
It was GOD who kept pushing the idea on me.
Nope I said, and I kept on running, kept on working on my You Tube videos.
Well that came to a halt the other night.
When he would not let me get to sleep until I started on his podcast.
I know some of you are like…yeah right, Frank.
Look I had absolutely no intention of doing this Podcasting thing.
I kept telling GOD not me. I’m not the preacher type.
You need someone like pastor Ron, or Chaplin Pete.
They been groomed their whole lives for this kind of work.
Uhhh, I’m an introvert…
Problem is I found out you don’t tell GOD no…
So after 24 sleepless hours of being bombarded with scriptures,
while I buried my head under my pillow.
Yes, he is that relentless.
Oh one important detail I forgot to mention was the sleep deprivation
Started over a week ago in little increments.
In other words my nights kept getting longer.
This night however reminded me of being back in Army basic training.
You know when the drill sergeants would come in at 2am and wake you up
by pounding on the metal 40 gallon trash cans in the bays
and screaming at you at the top of their lungs to get up out of my beds!
It was alarming to say the least, and even if you are dead tired from the obstacle
course. Your still gonna hear it…
And if GOD’s putting his words in your head you’re gonna hear them too…
Well, We finally came to an agreement at around 3am…
Okay, I caved….and said, “Yes Lord I’ll do it.”
So then he wants me to come up with a logo, right?
I said,” but it’s 3am?
So to get him off my back I said,”ok I got it.”
“A Bible, the rolling stones tongue, and a ghost. “
“The three things that are gonna convict you on judgment day.”
“Men’s words, your words, and the Holy Spirit.
And we will call your podcast…The Prosecution”
“Nailed it... huh, GOD?”
Then he shows me an image in my head of a Pharisee, well To be more specific …
It was me dressed like a Pharisee.
…So that’s when I knew it was no.
Then the Parable of the Lost Sheep popped into my head
and he wanted me to look it up.
It’s now 3:30 am.
I said, “now”?
So I went and looked it up.
Re-read it, and immediately a light came on in my head.
I said, “This is brilliant GOD, You’re a genius!”
So we went with his idea…
And I admit it whole heartedly His Idea was way more compassionate than mine.
I mean our ideas we were so far apart, I felt embarrassed.
I thought, So he does know my heart.
You know what…He knows yours too.
Yes if I ruled the world…Go on and finish
that sentence and you will find out a whole lot about your own heart.
Do You know in The Parable of the Lost Sheep
Found in (Matthew 18:10-14)
1Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.
2And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
3And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
4What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
5And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
7I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
You know one of the things that strikes me as being so obvious, yet it’s often
over looked. Is the fact that men do not look for sheep that are not their own.
And like wise Jesus does not look for sheep that are not his own…Let that sink in for a moment.
He said that joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than the 99
just personswhich need no repentance. Did you catch that?
He was taking a shot at the Pharisees who justify themselves and do not repent of
their sins. They needed to repent they just choose not to.
I guess GOD was taking another shot at me too
cause there I was in my mind dressed as a Pharisee again.
I said I get it…thought we already decided to go with your idea?
You see In this parable he was speaking to the condition of the sheep’s heart.
And only Jesus knows your heart…
You made a commitment to him and only you and Jesus know how seriously you
took that commitment. That’s…why he came after me.
…and if you’re listening to this right now it’s why he came after you too.
There is a reason why you discovered this podcast
and only you and Jesus know it.
And No, I don’t think he wants you to start a podcast.
He started one for you and he’s already selected his co-host…
Seriously though, If these Podcasts help to bring home
even one lost sheep then there will… be joy in heaven.
So remember to repent, make time to read his word, and be a doer of
His word not just a hearer,and pray daily.
You don’t want to go astray again…do you?
